When is Irelia getting reworked or powered up?

Irelia has repeatedly been nerfed over and over since she was released. They just wrecked her over and over. Since I started playing she was never powered up so I'm wondering when she will be? Has Riot announced anything for helping out Irelia players?

She's not getting buffs, at least not after her rework.

Irelia has some of the most controversial elements they've ever added to a kit. She's been repeatedly nerfed because it doesn't take much for her to get out of control. This is why she's getting a VGU at some point down the road.
