Riot can apologize about Kai'Sa's deep V-neck if they want to. You people are hypocrites.

There are FAR more people complaining about the people who brought up Kai'sa's V-neck than there are people brought up the V-neck originally. Seriously, search the boards and see for yourself. For people who claim Riot's integrity is being compromised by people who are "offended" you guys sure are offended yourselves.

And they're not even offended. They're just confused. Kai'sa's V-neck doesn't make sense thematically. It exposes a vulnerable part of her body like a target over her chest. People against the V-neck aren't up-in-arms about it like many make it out to be.

And speaking of Riot's integrity, there are several highly upvoted posts telling Riot to not cater to any playerbase and that they shouldn't be pushed around and that they can do whatever they want etc. How do you people not see the irony here? You guys are pushing Riot into rescinding their apology. You are asking them to cater to your playerbase.

What if what Riot wanted to do was apologize? is it not their prerogative to acknowledge a misstep if they believe they've made one, even if you disagree? And I'm really sick of this whole "SJW" or "Snowflake" witch hunt anytime there is a dialogue about sexualization. You just have to throw up these buzzwords and the upvotes pour in. They don't even make sense in the context of these arguments.

People are against the V-neck because they believe it doesn't make sense thematically, not because they believe it demeans or disempowers women. In fact, people against the V-neck concede that champions like Ahri or Evelynn who are very sexualized are okay because it makes sense thematically; it's not censorship and there is no social justice aspect.

The term "Snowflake" is used against people who adhere to the idea of multiple gender identities. Exactly where is that relevant here?

Let me summarize:

Playerbase A: We're confused, Kai'sa's deep V-neck doesn't make sense thematically. It seems like sexualization for the sake of sexualization.

Riot: We agree, we made a mistake. We apologize.

Playerbase B: Wow everyone gets offended over the smallest things these days. SJW's are bullying Riot into censoring their champions. Riot, you're free whatever you want! Don't apologize!

Riot: ...We want to apologize.

Playerbase B: -holds gun to Riot's head- We said you're free to do whatever you want. Don't. Apologize.

That last part is an exaggeration, but you get the idea.

TL;DR: Hypocrites say people are offended about Kai'sa's sexualization when they're the only ones who are offended about anything. Say Riot should do what they want while at the same time telling them to not apologize.

The real hypocrites are the one who complain about female splash arts and not male ones ever, for reasons.

Wut? No it isnt. Its used as a blanket term for pretty much anyone on the left.

The term being used to say they are fragile and as a mockery of the whole everyone is unique thing by calling them unique in a insulting way.

It can be used against multiple gender people but wasnt created for the express use against them.
