Origins Annie and current in-game Annie feel like two different characters

Current in-game Annie gives off the feel of her old lore: a prodigal child-mage who revels in her power and is generally content.

Origins Annie seems like a young girl just trying to have a childhood while dealing with a very traumatic past and latent, diabolic fire magic.

I am far more interested in origins Annie, who is a more complex character overall. It would be awesome if Annie got a VO and even a splash/model update to reflect origins Annie. Rito pls :)

Reav3’s stated this is the first experience that sparked Annie to develop the personality she currently has in game. To be as crazy and sadistic as she is, I would imagine a traumatic experience could trigger that.

Annie is just the newest one. Hopefully one they they will get their VO and model updated

In-game Annie actually feels more sadistic and possibly demented than the one shown in the Origins version. A lot of her lines have violent undertones and her passive combined with the line, "Let's count to 5!" makes it sound like she has a compulsion to build up to the most powerful use of her spells in a somewhat similar vein to Jhin and his 4th shot.

It is likely that some other stuff eventually happened between "Origins" and ingame Annie. Ingame Annie is probably Annie after she has managed to calm down and who mostly overcame said trauma.

And honestly,Annie did murder her stepmother(and she most likely blames her for the incident anyway) so it is not like she is above killing others when provoked.
