Here was my 'first' Kat game on a new account. As soon as we got into the match, the 350,000 mastery point Jinx flamed me for 'first-timing' a champion in ranked.

How do you know they were first-timing? Did they say that, or are you making that assumption based on their piss poor performance in game?

Also, no, mastery level in the loading screen doesn't tel you if they're first timing or not. Mastery 0-3 is hidden in the loading screen now.
