Why was the mastery price increased for BE

I can't imagine any reason that they would increase the pricing on the mastery upgrades with the changes to IP/BE, there is already no reason at all for there being a price and honestly 1 of the things that i was looking forward to for this preaseason is no longer having to buy the god damn champion tokens just to upgrade mastery, the changes with BE already seem scummy because now it seems more RNG based on rather or not you get a high priced token or a low priced token. Mastery should be a representation of skill flat out no exceptions, not "oh yea this is my mastery and 3250 worth of BE" seriously this should be lowered or removed completely because there is literally no reason for it to exist, it was only implemented to make blue essence when it was first revealed actually seem useful, this is getting rediculous and i don't want to have to legitimately slander the company i love so dearly, please make some changes to this.

because in the old system, the only way you got BE was from disenchanting/opening loot. BE is just IP now. It isnt worth as much

It's technically the same price but the number is larger. Both your old BE and the rank upgrade is 6.5 times more

The new rate of acquisition is another story

Then why do the majority of my fellow players say they got 4-5 low-value champion shards in a pack. Which means they got less than 500 BE

Easy, they're full of bs, lying, or dont remember that they got a bonus BE from opening it.

We got a ONE TIME multiplier of 6,5 and got a PERMANENT 6,5 price increase in mastery levels

The only way you got BE before was through disenchanting champs shards. I dont know the exact numbers, but I can promise you that a 6300 champ didnt give anywhere close to what it does now.

Its hard to compare 2 different currencies.
