There is literally no reason for it, you can just change your page in game so why would buying more even matter, it's just time consumption in champ select, seriously i want a legitimate answer as for why this is still in the game.
Why do you still have to buy rune pages
You don't have to buy rune pages. Some people like having multiple so they can make presets to switch between instead of editing everything in champion select. It's still an option because of personal preference.
Money. Legitimate enough? :)
