Katarina for the Assasin update?

I'm pretty surprised that i haven't seen many people mention Kat for the assassin update, but in the Leblanc assassin update discussion, it was mentioned that one of the other updates would be an AP assassin! all ap assassins are Akali, Katarina, Ekko, Fizz, Leblanc, Nidalee, Evelynn, (if builded ap) and Kassadin. I don't think Kass, Evelynn, Fizz, Ekko, or Nid are the rework, and Leblanc is already confirmed so that leaves Akali and Katarina. I think Katarina has more of a chance then akali because generally because the problem with katarina is that in some matchups, it's pretty much impossible to snowball and even in some it feels like you're forced to sit back and farm/poke with q until they get low enough so you can burst them and start the snowball, the things i generally find a problem with kat is that her potential only really shines after her team does some work, i never feel like i can engage with kat on a team fight unless a squishy steps out of line and i can instantly burst them, or my team lowers them enough so i can jump in and get resets, later in the game as well Katarina seems to fall off really hard and become a really weak champion, i feel like her kit is not only toxic for the community with instant burst on squishys, but also pretty toxic for katarina mains, forcing them into the mindset that says "if i don't get kills and be able to destroy everything, then it's gg" i definitely think an akali rework would be cool too but i would really like to see katarina come back into the light, i think riot already knows this, but if you can somehow preserve that great feeling of bouncing around doing tons of dmg with kat without making her still extremely situational, (of course making sure she's not completely broken) then definitely do it. I think the flaws in Katarinas kit outweighs Akalis but I'll just have to see. Any problems you saw with this post please tell me any feedback is awesome, and i can't wait to see the reworked kits of all 4 major assassin updates.
