When I play Ivern, I just say "Red/Blue Sap Up" and ping them to it. They get the idea eventually

Dear idiots on my team:
If you see a blue thing on your mini map AND YOU ARE NOT THE MID LANER DO NOT GO THERE. Even if you're going to die, do not go there, take the death and let your mid laner take it.
If you see a red thing on your mini map AND YOU ARE NOT THE ADC DO NOT GO THERE. Even if it kills you to not go there, you better of feeding a kill than take it from the adc
I remember playing Ivern once and I pinged red for my adc, I didn't bother using my passive on it because at that point of the game he could kill it faster, but he kept waiting on me to take it because he didn't know I'd still get it.

At my level of play no one knows how to play with ivern. To be fair I'm just learning and getting used to the champion but sometimes I think this would be easier if people took advantage of his strengths more.
Or it's Ivern's because an ally besides him took the buff.
