With the help of my duo partner and real-life friend Takoparadox, I am sitting at Silver 3. I am now pushing for gold.

whats the main point that made you climb? i always say its the basics that almost noone in low elo knows
Congrats, I just hit my promos a few days ago, and got the unlucky roll 3 trolled games in a row.

Look at his OP.GG this isn't a main account. Either that or you let someone play your account. You hardly have any games played and 9-2 as olaf... smurfing or you let someone play your account to boost you up.
How many games did you play in a season? Both in the season you climbed out and prior seasons
took me two years since my start of playing to reach silver without a duo partner to help me hard climb, this was with a laptop that was fallihg apart and never went above 30fps and a mouse that was a little red dot around the G key (you know what I mean if you ever seen one) , this year I bought a new PC and now I have an actual mouse and have over 60 fps and I got to gold without a duo partner with no real issue except teammates.
I know for a fact an actual mouse and a pc that isn’t wheezing to death really helps, if I ever get a duo partner I probably could get plat easily maybe struggle to diamond even
What would you say stopped you from climbing, cause I got gold 3 first season playing.
Congrats! It's my first year playing league and I'm currently trying to climb out of Silver 1. My PC is currently being borrowed by my brother at his university, so I'm stuck with a laptop that goes nowhere above 40fps, LOL. I hope you make it far into the ranks, goodluck! :)
duo queue is actually harder to climb except if you're playing with a straight up challenjour smurf. You get matched with lower MMR players (the tilted, the bad etc) because the system sees duo queue as a big advantage. It works up until you win too much and then you get the even more tilted and bad players and can't carry 0/12 top laner and combined 0/56 mid and jungle.
Congrats on climbing but at some point you will see it will get drastically harder because of duo queue.
