@Riot: How much do small stat changes affect a champions winrate or overall performance?

It`s something I have been wondering for quite some time now. For example, this patch Karthus got 10 extra damage on his Q at all levels, and you guys called it a "pretty significant power increase." Rengar got a base attack damage boost of 3. How much do these small number changes impact a champions performance and winrate? Not at all mad just genuinely curious on the statistics.

Small changes in armor/ad can really affect any jungler's early clear. Rengar getting a slight ad boost will speed up his clear a bit and leave him a little healthier in general while he's in the jungle. Same thing when J4 gained/lost ad/armor throughout the past year or so. It's not a huge hit, so they're still playable/not overtuned, but small changes like that can really affect early pathing and their susceptibility to counter jungling

For Karthus specifically, remember that this is a spell that does double damage when it hits only one target, and has a 1 second cooldown.

That's an extra 20 DPS at level 1 in optimal circumstances. Obviously you won't get that at all times, but that's a lot of damage boost. (Previous was 80 DPS, now is 100 DPS, a 25% increase.)

Ask yourself why runes like Aery, Scorch, and Cheap Shot are so significant in lane phase.
