Yeah, it's that time again. I'm once again reposting my petition to remove the feeding rule so players having a bad game will no longer have to worry about reporting threats or being punished for something they're not doing. Sign my petition and save the innocent players who just can't get a break.

Youre under the impression that getting reported = punishment.

All getting reported does is trigger a review of the game in question. If you didnt do anything, nothing will happen.

I don't recall seeing a single person who got banned for unintentional feeding.

The feeders who got banned were those who just gets easily tilted & does it to tilt his own teammates or simply griefing/gave up. That is nowhere near "innocent". Your petition here is simply useless.

I'm not focused so much on the system as I am on the feeding rule. It's a bad rule that needs to die.

The rule is "don't intentionally feed or you'll get a 14 day ban" That's a good rule. That's a rule everyone (who's not a troll) can agree on. The rule, implemented perfectly, never harms anyone who's actually trying to play League of Legends.

So contrary to what you just said, you are indeed worried about the system that enforces that rule. Riot's also worried about the system that enforces the feeder punishment, which is why they go super slow with it.

A personal experience for why I don't worry about the system: I one-tricked Xerath in ranked, but I had one game that I got absolutely dumpstered, going 0/13/4. 13 out of our team's 33 deaths, or 40% death participation. First death ~2 minutes in, second death ~3 minutes in, dying over and over to the enemy LeBlanc. I know several teammates were absolutely livid with me and accused me of intentional feeding, no doubt reporting me after the game. No warning, no punishment, because despite feeding like mad I wasn't intentionally feeding.

Then on what basis do you punished players that intentionally feed?

It takes an incredibly long time to get punished at all for feeding, which is actually something toxic players bitch about. They get all pissed off because it's easier to quickly detect and ban chat offenses than it is to determine if a person is actually int feeding.
