Has riot implemented something where if you're in promos you don't get that role? I've played about 4 games where I havent gotten main while in gold promos, like does riot think im going to care about these game? its just as much punishment to me as the people im playing with. I'm fucking tired of this. When I try, its even more frustrating when the game becomes unwinable at fuckin 13 mins. Do the game a favor and get rid of this shit, no one wants it.
It feels like Riot designed Promos to just troll the community, it's by far the most unfun thing in the game. It's not having to go best 2 out of 3.. it's that there is something about promos where the game just changes. I'm not talking about gameplay.. I'm just talking about bizarre crap just 'randomly' happens.. In my last 10 promo games I've had:
At least 7 of those games where players on my team disconnect. Never happens in a regular ranked game, but I get into promos and somehow the connectivity god starts having fun.
In 1 of my promos I played against a duo challenger ranked.... and I'm in silver. They had a 100% win rate with a 24 KDA... seriously...
And this is the weirdest part, when you get into promos it feels like Riot thinks that's a good opportunity to put new players to ranked into your game. I've had players that don't even understand the concept of CSing, or tower agro etc. Basic level Iron stuff and somehow they get on my team? I don't' understand it.
These things don't seem to happen when I'm climbing ranked, but of course, Riot is just going to say nothing to see here, it's 'Random', STFU etc because that's their company culture. What are you going to do?
It reminded me of last year, I have a month and a half of getting 1st champ select in every game... it was something like 50 to 60 games... in a f'ing row. But your champ select is.. 'random'. It's incompetence at it's best.
