Someone explain Ashe's passive t "Frost Shot" to me?

I play ashe... and maybe i shouldve known this long time ago but she exchanges crit damage to extra slows? I mean I read it before but i guess it never clicked. Does that mean every time i get crit, I cant do double damage. But, it increases my damage by those i hit with my passive on them relative to how much crit I have?

So what happens if I get Infinity edge? Is the passive on that item useless to Ashe? Is exhanging all her crit to extra passive damage there the whole time? If it is, how come when I get more crit Items, it stops at 125%?

I think I solve or answer my own questions but I just need explanation or confirmation if im right.

"Essence Reaver", "Phantom Dancer", "Statikk Shiv", Rapid Firecannon" and "Runaan's Hurricane" all have 25% crit chance and give Ashe 25% bonus damage to frosted targets.

"Infinity Edge" has the same 25% crit chance But by itself gives 31% bonus damage to frosted target and then it gets weirder when you have more crit items. "Infintity Edge" + 0 other 25% crit item = 31% bonus damage instead of 25% "Infintity Edge" + 1 other 25% crit item = 63% bonus damage instead of 50% "Infintity Edge" + 2 other 25% crit item = 94% bonus damage instead of 75% "Infintity Edge" + 3 other 25% crit item = 125% bonus damage instead of 100%

Instead of doing critical damage, Ashe instead does a critical slow - Which slows for twice as much (and decays back to the base over 1s), and her attacks against anyone she's slowed with her passive, W, or R deal 10%+(crit chance*crit damage) extra damage.

So your first attack always deals just your AD (plus any on-hits, but those aren't affected by her passive one way or the other). Your second attacks and on, however, deal 110%-235% of your AD (the first number being with 0% crit chance, the second being with 100% crit chance and IE).

IE increases the damage scaling from your crit chance ONLY by 25%. It does not affect the 10% damage you innately have. It increases her DPS from crit chance by the same amount it increases everyone else's damage.

Well, Yes, Rather then crit her slows are double. Say her basic slows were 20% (Im not sure the numbers. this may actually be right) then the "crit" would instead slow by 40%. Im not sure how IE interacts with her, though, its probably the same way, larger slow.

i discussed it about a year ago in a thread here: https://boards.na.leagueoflegends.com/en/c/gameplay-balance/ElUA7Q3q-understanding-ashes-passive

in short, she does not crit on her own but when an enemy gets frosted all her attacks to them are mini crits doing 1.1X but increases with crit chance. all while slowing them down.
