But seriously, this is a problem, especially for veteran players and especially now that champion shards drop from level-up capsules. It feels bad.

Of course Riot can't just double the rate at which players earn skin shards, so other things would have to change. For example, future skin shards would could cost 75% more to unlock, and it would take 5 shards to roll to skin permanent or something like that.

Whatever it takes to maintain the existing OE balance overall without that bad, gun-ragey meme feeling of winning a box for nothing... I'm for it.

I thought about it a little more, and extra shards would still grant more control over which skins you unlock, which would hurt RP sales even if the total number of skins awarded were the same.

So maybe 300-500 orange essence when you would get a champ shard would make more sense. But the total available OE would go up, and costs would have to change for future shards or something.

Just saying...

1: for the love of all that is holy, Dont open and close with meme generator pics again.

2: Riot isn't gonna botch their RP Sales by giving us more skin shards. I mean, I know a lot of people are bitching about the whole "Riot is preying on gamblers", but in all reality, If you're buying the chests, You're gonna be spending MORE Money than just buying skins, Which is why i severely D O U B T people buy chests to unlock skins, And why i honestly think riot shouldn't give a shit about changing skin shards, Unless it was reverting the OE changes
