Unpopular Opinion: CertainlyT makes champions that are unfun to play against

Here's the catch though: Most of the champions that this mook produces are fun to play and gives Riot money from LCS/Highlights or what not because of how over loaded their kits are. Also notice how almost every single one of his champions has to get nerfed numerous times in a row because of blatantly ridiculous they are. For instance,

Akali, nerfed the fucking ground. Graves, took months to nerf, but still got nerfed the fucking ground. Zoe, The immediate patch after she was released, nerfed to the fucking ground followed by constant balance changes for the next 5 patches. Kalista, literally never played anymore because she got nerfed to the fucking ground countless times. Yasuo, scrolling through his balance history, the last meaningful buff was in patch 4.21, and the rest were nerfs and QOL buffs. Warwick rework, nothing but nerfs. Thresh, for some reason has gotten nothing but buffs for years, might explain why he's so popular.

The only champion that didn't get nerfed to the ground (besides thresh) is Darius, which also just gets buffs thrown at him left and right. I mean, Darius sucks ass as a champion in my eyes, but do you see repetition here? Every single champion this guy produces has to get nerfed in some way because Mr. Wenban doesn't consider the possibility that these champions aren't fucking fun to play against.

Actually the Warwick rework was one of the best works they've ever done, both in terms of balance and design.

However, CT said he wanted to do more in that one than happened. Pretty sure if he did do more it'd go the way of the others.

Also, didnt he do Zed? Which was actually the best designed assassin in the game (sometimes ruined by itemization but that's not the Champion's fault)

The thing is, unfun to play against =/= unbalanced. Just because they are frustrating to play against doesn't make them any stronger or deserving of nerfs. I think it's more the case that Riot releases every champion/rework overtuned. CertainlyT's champions just get more attention because of how frustrating they are.

He makes champions that are fun to play and fun to watch with unique mechanics that change the way the game is played around them. He thinks outside the box, but people don't like change. When they go against a champion of a specific type, like a burst mage or an assassin, they expect certain trends to apply, but CertainlyT's champions break those trends. Your tower is not safe. You can get hit by something from off your screen. Your minion wave provides a way to engage. Those champions are going to have to suffer balance-wise to break those rules, but having those rule-breakers is important for keeping the game fresh and the roster diverse.
