As I'm sitting BEHIND my turret when their laner is fucking killing me. "Well if you have to back away from your tower, then do it". Ok, what that means to me is since they rotated top lane 8 fucking times in 10 minutes, you mean to "Stop playing the game and become completely useless because I can't get gold or EXP." Here's a fucking thought, how about you learn how to fucking rotate and not slow push the wave while Katarina is roaming nonstop.

Yeah I've had games where the only thing that could save me from dying over and over again is to stay afk at the base. I don't think there's such thing as "play safe" in league anymore ¯_(ツ)_/¯ people can dive and kill you at lvl 2 now.

EvilUnicornLord13 votes

Maybe if we had less insane burst in the game for every champion, tower diving would require a little more skill.

Name the last game you played where nobody took Ignite and Electrocute.

It's a team game, it's not all about your lane.

Most of the time, if I play top and I am camped, I feel like this is good as it means other lanes are not camped and have my jungler attention. It means that, if I can manage to do okay 1v2 or 1v3 top, my team can take dragons, turrets, kills... being 4v3 / 4v2. In solo queue, if you have a decent team, it should be good to be camped, sure you will be behind in gold and exp, but if you manage to do okay in that difficult situation, you're silently carrying. (it's kind of feed to win proxy Singed strategy)

You can also use TP to transform that 4v2 in a 5v2, take 2 towers and a drake for example.

Now, if you get 0/10/0 because you tilt and keep dying to those ganks, it's bad of course.

And sometimes, you might be unlucky, and your team won't be able to do anything despite their 4v3 / 4v2 situation =(

yeah i like playing against and armor stacker you cant kill and your being afk shoved undertower and ganked over and over and every time you lose a tower or die your fed zoe main is getting pissed because she doesnt understand what its like to not do damage and wont come kill the armor stacking tank thats afk pushing top lane lo mao

I am firmly of the belief that if the enemy has shoved the wave into your tower, and you're forced to be defensive - stop trying to CS. Kill the minions with all your abilities, get rid of the wave. They cannot tower dive you effectively if the minions are not there diverting turret fire. I see people still trying to CS in situations where they're getting dived or at high risk of getting dived, and that's not how to reclaim your lane.

And then when you're out of any CC or AOE abilities as damage, they all in you without having to worry about you affecting them since your abilities are on cooldown. Gold is important in the game, same with Exp. Clearing the wave can be useful, but if they have all in potential in the first place, regardless of minion waves or etc, they can combo you, and flash out and you're dead. That's just how the game is ending up at this point. They've loaded so much damage behind things that things just burst you into oblivion before you can react most of the time.

3TWarrior1 votes

except, if you run out of mana or have your cooldowns off, unless you have absolutely great waveclear, this is a terrible idea

when your cooldowns are burned or you are out of mana, you are then completely defenseless to stop their dive

it would be good to target them and the minions at the same time, but most of the time the champions that can dive are going to be at the front-lines, just waiting for an opportunity

What about you learning when to yield and back off? You're probably the same type of player as the Brand in my most recent game: meets a better player in lane and still thinks he can 1v1 and win the lane. He ended up feeding his opponent beyond measure and cost us the game. Sometimes you have to accept that you're getting outplayed. If you feed you just ruin the game for the rest of your team.

If you read carefully, he want his team to rotate and help him but they don't do that even after his lane have 3 people...3, that is not a outplay.

I mean getting ganked is always tough, but it really sucks watching your team do nothing off of it. At least shove the wave instead of waiting for your opponent to come back before they miss any. Or in the other situation when I'm trying to set up a dive, shove the Damn wave. What are you waiting for? Stop trying to harass and wait for the enemies next wave. Shove the wave so we don't need to take free tower shots walking up

Lordofherpderp2 votes

If you're dying 1v1 on lane there is noone else to blame but yourself; you're bad. You should never die 1v1...you might get denied but never die.

"As I'm sitting BEHIND my turret when their laner is fucking killing me." Sry but this set me off as if you were already a deadmeat on your team, and we all know the golden rule abandon lost lane.

also who the f upvotes a thread like this? assclowns

FixHealsRemoveGW1 votes

That's not a golden rule, it's a stupid generalization.

What about the junglers that farm the whole early game until all lanes are behind due to enemy pressure.

Does that mean you will just never gank?

What kind of lunatic logic is that? That's how you lose games for sure.

I'll tell you a golden rule: "Look at the fucking map and think about your options!" Always works 100% of the time, no matter your role.

Aseraan2 votes

Look at the fucking map and think about your options! THIS is what im screaming at my feeding bot/top when the whole river is warded whit control ward/trinket and scutle and they still refuse to back out of the lane while im pinging like a madman. AND YET THEY STILL DIE......so ye logic dictates if they refuse to play along whats logical who am i to carry them?

FixHealsRemoveGW1 votes

They should do it, but so should you, hiding in your jungle when you have other options to positively impact the game is also not good.

Everyone can and should take a bit of responsibility, but since many players don't do that, it's really hard to have good games.

Trying to shift responsibilities back and forth doesn't help anyone.

Elite4Runner1 votes

A lack of your jungler presence can not make you lose your lane.

Jungler presence can help you to win your lane, and the presence of the enemy jungler can help the enemy win the lane, but your jungler can not cause you to lose your lane by not coming to your lane.

I know people will disagree with this logic, mostly because most players are not junglers, but YOU are responsible for your map awareness, your vision, your itemization, your lane management, your positioning.

Your jungler can help you with these things, but not being present means the responsibility falls completely on you.

Pika Fox2 votes

Why would they rotate? Its far better for the team to just burn your lane and have you fall back a lot while they pressure other objectives. If youve already died multiple times, them rotating as well would just make multiple lanes fall further.

  • just ward

  • but 3 guys came in my lane and dived me

  • why you can't play safe?

[zombie-brand-mindblown]

i know what do you mean,if you are dying 1vs1 it's your fault but if enemies are playing aram in your lane it's not

if your allies refuse to help you can't do much about it,mute them and open your lane (especially if they camped your lane and now your laner is overfed),when they start to getting near your inib your allies will notice and they will more likely help you

also once your enemies will push they won't go more deep since it'd be too risky, you just freeze under your other tower and afk farm

i know it sounds like trolling but you can't do much about it,giving a tower it's still better than giving a kill + tower,if they keep ignoring your lane it's their fault

afk farming it's the best way to win the game for you,if you'd try to fight with your team you'd only end up getting oneshoted without doing anything,in this way you can get some gold and XP back while holding someone in a sidelane

since you'd be useless anyway forcing enemy team in a 4 vs 4 it's the best thing you can do,even better if the only that can stop you from splitting is the fed guy,if another lane got fed or it's somehow good you have an good chance of winning

Hard to feel bad for top laners when they're chilling with 0-3 ward score 10 minutes into the game

TheDevice1 votes

That's the hardship of a solo queue top laner. JG will say stuff like "I'm ganking the hypercarry lanes" and then tell you to play safe and hug turret all game while you're getting dove 2v1 or 3v1.

The best Junglers in the game, hands down, are those who can gank every single lane period.

I also never liked the "not going to gank a losing lane" mentality. It's actually a very bad way to play the game. When I used to JG a lot, the lanes I would specifically target are the ones that the enemy JG is targeting. This is because I can get shutdowns, I can counter gank, and I can keep my laners from tilting.

People just underestimate the importance of JG. They claim it's a team game but will put all the blame on a laner if they start to lose. As a top laner, I have to make sure that my junglers are safe near topside jg as well as their camps, help secure scuddle, help midlane when possible and maybe even tp bot for ganks. If my team starts losing I have to accept the possibility there may have been something I could have done to prevent it. Every player in ranked should feel the same.

Still, this doesn't mean you're not going to get atrociously bad players on your team and regardless of your assistance, they may just fail anyway.

FixHealsRemoveGW1 votes

I don't understand how you can do a full clear without ever checking on your top laner and then do krugs and recall while he calls for help or obviously could be helped, but I see this all the time.

Since most junglers start bot, top very often ends up as the first victim of sloppy and non-opportunistic junglers.

Puppet33r1 votes

To be fair. Trying to follow kata's roams without wards is a very bad idea and will most likely just result in her getting another kill.

Cooler391401 votes

Lissandra: "Foolish child." Liss is the answer to counter Kata in lane, putting her behind and rendering her roams by quite a lot.

I've taken this to the extreme that if my laner gets a gank lead (and has snowball mechanics or ignite + electrocute) I just sit under turret and play some afk game like osrs runescape lmao. Ofc the inevitable 15min roll by of the enemy holding waves to the point of me only being able to touch 1 every 4 or so waves and the team starts trash talking you having 1/4th the cs of your enemy. Atleast I'm not 0/6 right? c: Who cares if I have 40 cs vs the 2/0 irelia/riven/whatever with 120 cs, it's all about not inting right? Cs doesn't matter. lvl99 mining here I come

Here comes my down votes, but you can ward and know she is coming or buy defensive items and just play passive and possibly get a double. Just a thought =

I AFKed in base after this happened to me, to catch my breath and stop myself from becoming too tilted.

Next thing I know the Teemo on my team is begging the other team to report me for being ‘toxic’, and now I have a chat restriction. Thanks RIOT. Gg.
