I love it when people start screaming about their freedom of speech etc when they get banned. When freedom of speech means that government can't do anything to you for expressing your opinion etc

"You agreed to the TOS when you started playing this game/joined this site/whatever else you're doing."

"Yes."

"And you recognize that this is a private entity that is not beholden to putting up with your BS."

"Yes."

"And you understand that not all speech should be tolerated because threats/calls to violence and other niche scenarios like shouting 'fire' in a crowded building can be dangerous?"

"Yes."

"So you understand that riot does not have to put up with your bs because they're a private entity, they made you agree to a TOS when you joined, and freedom of speech doesn't mean freedom from consequences?"

"Riot needs to stop restricting my first amendment rights."

That feeling when the community is more concerned about the hurt feelings of the griefers who int and troll and actually ruin the game. Looks like Riot has their priorities straight. No wonder it's a troll's paradise! [sg-miss-fortune]

Very brave unpopular thread which was in no way intended to farm upvotes with as little work as possible. +1 good sir, I tip my fedora to you

I was about to flame you for using the over used and (most of the time) incorrectly used mEmE tExT but then I saw Riot James and lost it for some reason

Id argue bans by definition are anti consumer and violate basic consumer protection laws, but i feel no pitty for those rightfully banned for the reasons they are banned.

Edit: typing on phone is difficult
