Just need to let off some steam. Carry on.
I get it. The matchmaking system wants me to have 50% win rate, but fuck me does it piss me off. I get it that it's difficult as shit to carry from top lane, and I am fine with that. What I am not fine with is how my games are decided by RNG. If I'm dominating top lane, roaming the other lanes and grabbing objectives, it can all be nullified by 1
that's tilted and decides to splitpush alone all game (literally). If I'm doing poorly, it can all be saved by
destroying the jungle.
My recent match I was
vs
top lane. It didn't go so well, I lost the clutch when I was ganked by the enemy jungler, and from there on she sat my lane for quite a while. I was forced to try and stay alive with
, but it wasn't enough to save my lane. So this amazing jungler I have
decides to spend his time top lane, knowing full well that the enemy jungler
comes there often.
I tell him to spend his time in other lanes, since top lane can't carry when behind, but the genius comes anyway, loses the 2v2, dies and goes on repeat. It's unfathomable why this guy kept on coming back, instead of going for bot/mid. Because he got behind this way, he was worthless for the rest of the match and we lost.
I'm tired of these scenarios, I have to lose/win depending on my teammates, I feel like my own performance only makes a minor impact on the game as a whole, and that kills me when skill doesn't mean everything. I deserved that lose against Fiora, I overextended too often, but in other games when I'm ahead I still have the risk of losing because something I had absolutely no control over could have happened, like their marksman going 6/0 before laning phase is over.
I'd at least be okay with it if it actually felt like I got outskilled, that my opponents played better than I did, but too often it just feels like it all comes down to who have the worse teammates. It applies to enemies as well, when I see mid laners go 14/2/5 and dominate us, but in the end we win because his teammates were thrash and I catch them out too often, it doesn't feel like I outskilled that mid laner, he just had worse teammates than I did.
