Let's see. Buy two PROJECT capsules with three skins in each, likely all 975 RP skins, for 1400 RP.

Disenchant four of the shards so you can craft the fifth.

So you've paid 1400 RP for a random 975 RP skin, 20% of another skin (200 RP), and some indeterminate orange essence.

Or you can just cut out the middleman, save 425 RP, and buy the skin you want instead.

Now, Riot, do you see EXACTLY how bad lootboxes have become with the orange essence nerf?

Yeah, paying for lootboxes have always been bad, don't pay for them.

Under the old system, one capsule would let you craft one of the skins, effectively a random 975 RP skin for 700 RP. Bad, but not an overwhemingly stupid purchase - you're getting a very slight discount on the random skin.

Now, you literally don't even get the value you paid back in items.

Yes loot boxes are designed to tease you making you want more as your video shows with the mobile games people know how to manipulate people into buying stuff 99% of a mobile game is free user 1% is the whale so yeah I get that addiction is bad

I have 4355 orange essence with nothing to use it on because every skin shard I get is something I don't want. I have no clue why people bother to pay for this crap, random skins just means you get something you didn't originally want.

I still haven't used any of the 3 random skins I got for my rune pages because it was bullshit that I didn't want. OOHHHH an Aatrox skin, how nice of Riot to give me something that I will never use.
