I read that all previous chat records will be wiped. Will this negatively affect the chances of previously banned people being able to prove they had reformed with whatever ranked rewards policy you guys are finalizing?
Everyone is getting all chat and ranked restrictions cleared in 5.18.
I don't know why Riot decided to release this information now, instead of in the patch notes for 5.18, as it would have much less impact on the next week's play.
Never mind that Riot has already chosen to shove all of the really toxic players into my game mode of choice, normal draft. Now they get a free week of raging with absolutely no consequences for doing so.
I think I'll just bot game my first wins until 5.18, I don't need to deal with the increased toxicity.
