Continuing the journey into the forest, Chibi and friends encounter a surprising lack of pokemon. Walking around in the grass for about 5 minutes, I only found maybe one or two pokemon. Collectively, all i found were Avalugg, Beldum, sawbuck, and the amount of time it took to find them was pretty long. In the end, I walked away with three new buddies.

Avalugg named after Ouroboro http://i.imgur.com/9lCbAID.png Dizzy Punch Minimize Meditate Thuderwave Ouch. One damage skill and not even a good one. On the bright side, Thunderwave and minimize are pretty good to drag out a fight for whatever reason.

The trainers overworld sprites were replaced by pokemon, and their battle sprites were that of Black Belts. Weird. The first battle was against a Mawile who spammed Dual Chop, Shadow Ball and defensive ball curl. Taric just couldn't cut it, so I swapped him in for Ear who was like," Hey guy. "and slowly chipped the Mawile down with Psywave, since his mega kick was completely worthless after so many defense curls. His next mon was an Unfezant who one shot Ear with an Aerial Ace. BlueVestGuy revenge killed with a face that seemed to say...

The final mon was a Croconaw, so one, two,fuck you, thundershock and I win 175 dollars. Pocket change that'll get me nothing. The rest of the trip was super uneventful. I found another Avalugg that was melted by 2nd Chance, but other than that, the other battles were cake. A Pichu who spammed ice punch, an Absol who did nothing... A really boring way to start off a Pokemon Red game.

Rather than take on the gym immediately, I ran to the Pewter Pokemon Center real quick and decided to go back to route 3 to search around a little to try and make up for my poor haul in the forest. First step I take I find a Typhlosion who cried a lot. Took a bit of effort, but I finally got him to stick. A spin of the wheel of degeneracy gives me...Hero of Ideals whos gonna be shortened down to just Tulan. His pokedex is replacing bellsprout which now makes him the flower pokemon. Isn't (s)he just a precious, beautiful flower?

Tulan unfortunately comes with alright moveset of, Confusion, Stun Spore Fake Tears Rock Tomb.

Rather than waste time catching more pokemon, I decide to just go right for Brock. The guy whos your little "HEY CHAMP, HERES SOME INFO!" dude is also replaced by a pokemon sprite. I feel like im in a Mystery Dungeon game. The First fucking battle is a metal as fuck Torterra who just trashes Gay Taric, Ducko, and 2nd Chance to death. His second mon, not nearly as threatening is a crawfish Clauncher whos spared a Hyper Beaming from Ducko and instead is killed off in two thunderbolts. Kind of a shame too. Ducko loves vaporizing fish.

Moving on to Brock, (after patching up Gay Taric, Ducko, and 2nd Chance)he starts off with a pidgeot who Gay Taric electrocutes to death, and a Stantler who loves Ducko alittle too much by licking him over and over. Ducko isn't one for physical affection of that magnitude, so he punches it in the face and we collect our boulder badge.

Choosing to just check out the town a little bit, I walk into a quaint little hovel where there are two Seal's and a balding guy. Talking to the only human in the room seemed like the best option, but instead.. http://i.imgur.com/A0shbKd.png I get barked at, while the Seal tells the man to sit. Fuck this im out.

I decide looking around the town is just pointless and continue on the path to mount moon. Mount Moon in my last play though of Pokemon Red was a source of much triggering with Dialga's blasting me in the face and walling me at the first floor. Im genuinely hoping for an equally exciting experience this time around. Till then, im stuck trudging though Route 4 against little girls who are now replaced with the Gym Leader Blaine... Continuing down the conga-line, the youngsters have been replaced by Scientists battle sprites showing the benifits of staying in school and going for a STEM degree. The first young scientist throws out a probopass which looks like it wants to die in the worst possible way. http://i.imgur.com/uMu5whk.png Naturally, we'll oblige it, and Gay Taric pumps his hydro all over it.

After pounding every trainer on the route, I decided to do a little more hunting, then call it quits for the time being. The first mon I encountered was a Psyduck. I still have my Golduck, Ducko, and I didnt feel the need to over saturate us with ducks, so I let him pass. The next mon was a Zangoose. Zangoose punched Engelin in the face once with a Fury attack and he kinda wilted. Instead, i swapped him off and put Ear out where he stomped on Zangooses face till he stayed in the fucking ball.

Damn. Those physical stats. Unfortunately, he doesn't have a moveset that makes use of it very well right now. Dazzling Gleam, Fury Attack Flash Cannon Focus Energy

After purging some more Zangoose and psyducks, I found a cute little Furret who put Gay Taric on ice for a bit with an Ice beam. After burning it with Flamethrower from 2nd Chance down to critical, it took one ball to capture Furret. Taking another trip to the wheel of degenerates, I rolled...Oh jesus fucking christ its Zkox. Whatever, everybody else on this wheel is too fucking manly to be a Furret, so this fits just fine. Zkox has a rather manly moveset for all the shit talking I was just doing.

Bluevestguy and his thundershocking mansludge take the thrid slot. Hes becoming my favorite. 2nd Chance in the fourth. He melts stuff Soulforged in the fifth to make a man out of him at some point And CLG Ear in the sixth mega kicking bitches.

Im starting to wish I did this as a nuzzlocke.
