I'm torn on car choice

regular WRX or STI 2017?

regular WRX is just as fast to a point, but is less mod friendly

STI costs more but i'm getting a REALLY good deal on it (31k instead of like 37k)

no I don't vape, yes I know evos are better (but they're the same price used and they don't make new ones anymore)

That seems like a pretty sweet price on an STI, and if you're not compromising your budget, I think the STI is quite a sexy car. I only have a bit of experience digging through details about each of the cars , but I really do like the STI even after being a hardcore Evo fan for years. (was looking at an Evo as well, but again, they're no longer being produced... really wanted that special edition Evo though, lol)

As someone who's completely out of the loop with respect to modding, I'd do some comparison there on your own. It's all about budget at the end of the day, and what you're able to spend. Not sure if maintenance will be any higher on the STI though. Good luck!

Idk, man. They both look like a Corolla that joined a street gang. (Half kidding) =P

Unless you're a hobbyist that enjoys the modding, I think you'd have more fun with a pre-turbo M car.

Neither, only cars I want are what my dad calls "gangstermobiles". I'm talking the cars you always see detectives driving and shit. like 70-80s era cars.

He did say if I ever do get one he'll get me a zoot suit and one of those hats with the like four foot feather in it to go with it.

Have you sat in/driven either? I was looking at a WRX until my husband tried to sit in one and was really uncomfortable because of his height. Sometimes that can help make a decision =P
