Noticing a lot less report pop ups for reporting toxic players

i'm seeing nothing but toxic players swearing at everyone, intentionally feeding, being racist and homophobic, usually when i'd report this behavior i'd get a pop up but i'm not getting anything anymore for the last month and there's a toxic player in 1/3 games at least

are they easing up because rewards are coming out? what's happening?

I haven't had a notice in months.... But the frequency of my reports hasn't changed. It does seem notifications has dropped compared to a few months ago.

Okay, I know what notice. My case is similar to yours; I haven't seen one of those in a long while (9+ months now I guess). I guess that IFS has flagged me (and people like me) as false reporters and thus our reports go directly to the trashbin.

So Tantram says and I would love to believe him, but I cannot believe him because Riot has not fixed their FAQ that says "players who consistently make false reports against others diminishes the value of that player's report and renders them meaningless." . They know the line is there, it would be so simple to remove/fix, but they won't fix it. Why?

The FAQ is much more visible & trustworthy than the words of single Rioter who speaks on forum posts on forums, which even Riot uses less than for example they use reddit. If Riot wants people to actually believe them, they should fix their FAQ.

What? So if someone on the team who isn't me loses Lane and our jungle flames him it would be my fault, if some yas top losses Lane and blames our jungle it's my fault. If some guy suicide dives and flames the team for dying it's their fault. Lol what. You're trying to make it seem as if people only flame when someone feeds and if you run into toxic people a lot then you must be the cause of it.

You need to chill out. Players like you are toxic, and flame when people feed. Stop being dicks to the people who are still trying to practice/get better, otherwise, they won't.

Id report that too. Too bad 99 percent or reports for verbal abuse etc are for people who did nothing but dont worry those people will get banned too because they will inevitably have a bad day. Too bad people filing false reports are never banned ever.

Thats exactly what happened to me. Riot themselves dont give a single shit about actual players, they let their automatic system do everything. I was a toxic player, i admit that, but i stopped after a 14 day ban, stopped even mostly talking at all in game. But then a single game, where i had a support that inted 3 times in bot lane then went afk, where the jungler literally decided it was better to finish the enemy raptors instead of help me and counter gank, when i was running right to him, then say "I was there dude", and later int for the rest of the game, and trap us in the game after our top laner went afk as well. Like literally run into 5 people every time he spawned, and refuse to surrender. Where the other team responded to me asking them to just push mid and end because of our 2 afk players, and our inting jungler, by hunting me down anywhere i went for the rest of the game, and refusing to end. This ridiculous game, i got reported by the other team for just wanting the game to end, and i got an instant permanent ban, From One SIngle game, when i had literally stopped talking to people because it wasnt worth losing my account. Riot only cared about their automatic system and takes it as gospel, when more likely than not, now in todays community you are going to get reported more likely for playing bad than actual toxicity. I have submitted a ticket and sent response after response, my ticket has been pushed to a second person now and all i get is a cut and paste response from someone who refusus to actually watch the game and see what was going on. Riot really doesnt care about what their system is doing, how bad it is, the way it enables toxic players who know how to bend the system. They are in it for the money and nothing else.

After my ban, i had not talked almost at all except to say "GJ' or "TY' but all that happens, i chatted this, and i get banned.

No they are not easing up at all,still merciless, you prob either are reporting them in only 1 time in lesser/wrong categorys=delayed reviews You reported 2 many times so your reports mean little=delayed reviews It can legit be a half a month before you get the notice that the person you reported was punished since they are allowed like 1 game of toxicity for the month and the moment it hits 2nd reported game it's punishment time. And no you don't get warned about being reported till punished.

I see where you're coming from here, I myself now record every single game I play of league so I can review them later. So many people are toxic to me so at the very end of the game without saying anything at all report them and you know what, nothing ever happens.

i used to see them all the time, like when people are toxic unprovoked they're usually a player that is toxic often so reports get rid of them, i'd get a few a week but i haven't gotten any for weeks now and i've encountered a ton of people that are flaming or passive aggressive and just awful to play with

Yeah on my main before my permaban I would report people because they were very toxic, a lot more toxic than I had ever been. I would get messages and time were good. But after the times were good the dark times came where feeders, verbal abusers, and racist took over the league and where I would never get one of the pop-ups saying they got banned.

I just got permabanned for these two games. Trust me the report system is still working very very well.
