i am on a smurf just to make a point about how stupid these games are, i hold almost 100% winrate outside of promos, and the second i hit them i instantly lose both ina row, then instantly get back in, lose 2 more, then get pushed through for having 2 free wins

I lost 0 games in plat 3 the entire week. not counting promos which i lost every single time. 2:0 and not a single game went past 29 minutes

Boom lost 12 in a row because Riot is giving me Gold 1-plat 5 team mates with plat 5 mmr against players that have plat 1- diamond 5 mmr. Its insanely stupid, almost all the games are lost due to that one person not knowing what to do.

Just climbed to p1 and I've started to see d5 players. I believe they should keep promos in between divisions to keep players like that locked in a cage. Especially the amount of boosted ones I've seen the past 2 days.

invisiblecat11 votesYou are saying that there are no promos, and reaching a certain amount of LP would get you to a certain rank This is EXACTLY what the old elo system did, but this was changed, that way if you reached Gold V and then lost the next game you wouldn't be automatically demoted to Silver I again

The first promos were actually hard and cancer but after we wins and jumping divisions i got the best teammates you can imagine. I'm fairly certain the matchmaking gives you shit promos when you are close to your mmr or around 50% WR. Because "if you deserve to rank up you carry these idiots".

ive just been dodging one and if i almost guaranteed lose the 2nd one so i only lose like 18 LP, the next game puts me right back in and then i get a free win
it's honestly not worth the headache, the games are so obviously rigged i can't even stand it anymore, it's not even worth playing, it's sad that the strategic move in ranked is to not even play promos and to wait to get pushed through with the free win
ViciousSummoner1 votesI kind of want to say it's more on how the MMR/ELO works. I feel as though it'd be better if all new players started at 0 MMR/ELO as opposed to 1200. This is pretty close to Gold. I personally feel that the free MMR/ELO is really what makes certain players stick around. These players tend to go about 50/50 always getting a lucky game here and there. A few of these players might coast off win streaks and get pushed higher and then end up getting stuck when better players leave. These bad players bring average players down, but average players and good players also bring them up too. It just causes a never ending cycle because the starting point is always in this area where they get pushed up and down continuously. This is also why the seasonal resets fail in what they intend to do.
Sorry for going a bit off track, but it just all really boils down to this.

Got back up, 2 free wins, and got promoted the next game. So stupid that I was denied promoting due to my top laners being sore losers.
