Can we do something about ReMakes already?

Why has remakes become so common place? Is it really that hard to have 10 players connected? The common AFKers I keep encountering are:

Never Connected (good thing theres remake(
Bugsplat (so they join 5-7 minutes late into the game)
Buy Items then AFK'd (the worst of the worst)

I mean if someone is afk in the first 3 mins they're already behind and late to lane. Why would you want to start with a disadvantage?

I'm glad we can remake, what I can't understand is why its become so common place? It's happening more often now, its become a little to noticable to me. I hope its jus me.
