Greetings fellow summoners,
I am an 
Main and can not actually tell how my charm works. Sometimes I will stop some champions mid dash as well as prevent damage and sometimes I will charm champions mid dash and still receive damage. Sometimes my charm stops them mid dash, but sometimes it doesn't.
What is the current state of the Charmed Status Effect.
It´s basically case to case, you can only learn them each individually x)
This because many, not all, but many dashes have the unstoppable bonus like say Jarvan E-Q,,,,,the effect is as the name implies but not everyone has that privilige.
Lee sin on his Q does not for instance, if you charm him while he´s still flying towards you then his second Q part wont apply and he´ll just stop mid air like he hit a wall before slowly walking towards you.
I haven’t been able to play normal summoners for weeks so I can’t tell you anything other than knowing if the enemy champion’s dash is unstoppable or not.
Also that some champs have cast timing for their dashes so if you charm right as they hit their dash button but the dash hasnt started yet it will still go through.
Just to name a few 
(although you can’t stop Ezreal and Kass cause they are instant flashes, it’s still good to know they can get away if you attempt to charm them thanks to the cast timing)
