Can kindred even do damage before 3-4 items now?

I haven't played her since she could just Q into people and burst them, but I wanna try picking her up. I've tried a few different builds, but I can't find anything that feels strong or any reason to pick her to jungle over any other marksman. I know her kit has been nerfed into the ground, but it's kind of pathetic that a champ who was built around creating and contesting her very own mini-objective should have to flee in terror from a Nami.

If anyone has any suggestions that would give her some presence it would be greatly appreciated.
