Teambuilder was great, can we get it back?

reasons team-builder was great

  • 5 man teams dont have long queues, meaning games start as soon as they find 5 other people to play against
  • Everyone gets set up to play what they want properly without the stress of being on a timer
  • Removes the dodge mechanic (meaning no penalties for not wanting the team you get picked up by, not having to sit in queue and champ select over and over again for every dodge)
  • Secret synergy planning + no bans to remove said synergy

Reason it was bad

  • waiting for the 1 role no one liked (which was support) and because they knew how valuable they were, they always left unless the team was perfect

I think teambuilder should have been ranked. I mean everyone gets to play whomever and wherever they please, so it means it becomes an actual contest of skill. People are a lot less likely to do poorly due to being thrown in a situation they don't know how to handle, and people are less likely to run it down since they get what they want from the start. Versus ranked now, which is practically a griefer's paradise. Called it a game of skill is like calling Riot an indie company.

Or just fix the jungle. Funny how all these posts start coming out of the works as soon as people start getting autofilled into the JG that they still complain about being too strong.

I agree that they should bring back teambuilder. I used to play normal blinds here and there and alot of teambuilder before they removed it, however now I won't touch anything besides coop-AI and customs because I have no desire to reward Rito for removing a game mode I highly enjoyed.

The longest que time I ever had in TB waiting for a support as a mid was 10 mins and that was only 2-3 times. Most times it wouldn't reach over 5 minutes with around a 2-3 min average. ^ Just my experience, others may differ based upon their chosen roles and champs.
