OP.GG Chrome Plug In

Just went to OP.GG's webpage today and saw this, and I am not sure what it means. Does it mean they have scrapped the plug in idea, or what? If not, does this plug in work for anyone, and if yes, how did you set it up. It doesn't work for me when I set it up as they want me to.
