Teemo's a lot harder to play than his one-tricks make him look.

Part of it might be that I've had to pick before the enemy top every single game so far and i keep getting counterpicked, but with his immobility you really have to tread a fine line between safety and aggression. After 6 or 7 games I don't think I've won lane yet, but at least I don't feed out of my mind.
And the gank attention is just never-ending with an endless string of Jarvans and TFs ulting me under tower. I don't know how Teemo players get away with pushing all game without a single gank.

You always get ganked as Teemo, you either kill your opponent enough to make it not worth coming top or hope that the jungler is duo with mid or not.

Teemo players get away without getting ganked because they know how to use shrooms. Once you escape ganks a few times as a result of them, they kinda give up ganking you unless they bring a whole bunch of people. His Move Quick gives him plenty of time to run away once an enemy hits a shroom. You just have to place them.

That's what you get for playing teemo. He is an annoying little shit. Everyone hates him, and they know he doesn't have mushrooms pre-lvl-6 so they take the opportunity and dumpster him while they can before he gets the protection of the mushrooms at lvl 6.

/Rant over. Now, if you want to avoid those problems, keep things warded during the early levels to see the ganks coming, and play safe until lvl 6.

The trick to not getting ganked is using that passive at the right moments lol I lost count of the amount of times I've dodged a 1v3 gank when playing him top lane because no one could see me lol Also every mushroom must be placed wisely to prevent ganks too.
