you get up to right around 6300 BE at level 10, then BE gain is throttled to 450 per level. pretty much impossible to get any more playable champs after level 10. i get that it's specifically designed this way to squeeze money out of newcomers as soon as possible, but fuckin really?
Thank god there are a plethora of 1350 champs you can main instead on your way up
It's not call of duty. You don't need to unlock everything, then reset 10 times and unlock everything again. Then a year later by the new title and do it all again. Once you unlock a champion, you have it forever. Yeah, going for an expensive champion will set you back, but there's also free rotation and tons of cheaper champions to try while you're learning the game. It's not really expected for new players to jump right into draft pick right away
The system isn't designed for smurfs it's designed for new players. New players aren't gonna immediately know what to main cause they don't know what anything does, so they'll just go for cheap champions. Riot doesn't need to cater to smurfs.
