But wood is softer than bronze..? Until Diamond, the general rule of thumb is denser material is lower ELO. Iron > Bronze > Silver > Gold > Platinum

Actually, although diamond is the exception here....
Iron density: 7.874 g/cm3
Bronze density: 8.553 g/cm³
Silver density: 10.49 g/cm3
Gold density: 19.32 grams per cubic centimeter
Platnium density: 21.45 g/cm³
Diamond density: 3.51 g/cm³
So until diamond, it is actually lower is less dense.
However, it is not based on density but rather what is generally worth more/viewed as having the most worth. That is why diamond is on top.
That said, wood has less than 1 density for the most part. Making it the optimal choice rather than the 3 something for titanium.
