no gap in the middle, much smaller, cast time, short blink (still mildly upset that the akali rework took away her buffer jump)
same duration (5 to 7 instead of 8) and cooldown (20 instead of 18)

The blink was clunky af, sure it made the veigar matchup bearable, but overall I prefer her W without it. Her current W is pretty much the same as it was pre 6.22, when ricklessabandon fucked her kit up, except it was smaller and wasn't a donut.
Also, if there's one thing current Akali definitely doesn't need, it's more mobility, she's already one of the most mobile Champions in the game.
