Can sight stone build out of something besides health?

I always hate building sight stone as an AP support or as a champ that doesn't value the health that much. Where compared to a tanky support the health is more beneficially since one of your main roles is to soak damage which feels unfair for a support that isn't meant to soak damage. I rather see the item build out of something different that offers stats that are beneficial equally across all supports. The first thing that came to mind was move speed since that's something all supports can value across the board more fairly than health. It doesn't have to be move speed just a stat that every support can appreciate equally.

Call one other stat that every support can benefit from aside from Health and Movespeed. You made that one example but there's really nothing else.

Supps can be anything, from the tank that does no dmg but sits there and soaks to a secondary midlaner, that goes ham with sick base values on their abilities. There is simply no other stat everyone wants to have. The only possible thing is to create a new Gold generating item, that gives maybe some bonus regeneration on Health/Mana, but that would make the 3 available support items obsolete. This is never going to happen.

Please tell me what the issue is with making a second sightstone that only gives 40 AP. Please. Explain this to me.

Now here's the point: you wanted another stat on Sightstone first, now you talk about creating another Sightstone Item. If you want AP on it, get Eye of the Watchers. There, now you have your AP.

I did no such thing. I am not the TC. Try to keep up. And getting item 2301 not only completely misses the point that is being made, but it bars you out of getting your item 3092, with the alternative being that you are stuck with item 2045 .

Tank supports on the other hand LIKE both options and would gladly take either or, giving them the freedom of choice, while AP supports have the burden of sightstone.

All supports value HP pretty heavily.

If you're stuck with ultra-squishy stats: getting a 150 HP increase is a pretty substantial increase in overall defense when you only have 500 HP. 150 HP is a pretty negligible boost when you have 1500 HP.

Also: as a support you're going to be a lower level than everyone else. Average per-level HP gains are ~85, requiring ~170 HP to negate being 2 levels under your opponents.

Being a glass-cannon is one thing, but opting into being made of tissue paper where you die the moment an assassin looks your way or the moment you get tagged with AoE is another.

Completly ignoring defense is also generally a bad idea if there are noteworthy penalties for dying. And dying in LoL is extremely bad.

All champions value HP, but what I'm saying is that ruby crystal/sight stone doesn't synergize as well for supports who don't prioritize soaking damage as it does for those for who do. Health doesn't make a squishy support's utility offense/defensive stronger, but it does for tanky champs. Assassins already do that btw to squishy supports, that 150 extra HP is rarely gonna make a difference. Since being under leveled is a general problem that effects all supports and that's just one of the many problems of being a support currently and no one said anything about neglecting defenses either. What I'm basically saying is that the flat health increases the core strengths of tanky support but does nothing for the strengths of squishy supports while doing a poor job helping their fragile state.

Been saying it for years, TC. Prepare for shitty comments about how it "technically" benefits you as the support to be building health even tho it really doesn't.

How does a universal defensive state not benefit you?

Because as a squishy as fuck Lulu or Janna , I'm not building heavy Defensive items, making the 150 (500) HP from item 2049 (if i even finish it) incredibly laughable. To properly support my team, I need AP to enhance my utility, not health.

This skews thing to where Tank supports can rush item 2049 and get a visceral power spike from purchasing it as opposed to AP utility supports that don't, despite both being pigeon held into having to buy it.

Your are arguing the equivalent of saying having to theoretically build item 3504 on ADC {{champion:21} is fine because she has AP scalings on her Q, E and Ult.
