@RiotRepertoir- What are your thoughts on Miss Fortunes early game mana restrictions?

As an 850,000 mastery MF main, I feel MissFortune is in a mostly decent place.

My main issue is the early game mana restrictions on her kit being a bit too oppressive. MF needs to spam Q and W for csing, harassment and maintaining wave control. In fact Miss Fortune's last major update shifted her W into a form that promoted spamming it even further as it's duration was shorted, but cd reduced when switching targets.

Miss Fortune's Q and W spamming nature aside, her other two spells E and R cost a whopping 80 and 100 mana respectively.

I commonly find myself running out of mana trying to match other adc's attempts at controlling the wave. I also find that by the time I approach level 6, i'm lower mana than i'm comfortable with. It's gotten so bad that i've started buying a dorans ring during my first back, just to make sure i'm ok at 6.( which is working it out pretty well actually, but i'd rather not have to)

A suggested change i'd like to see is removing the mana cost from W. It's essential for csing and drains her bar when she already likes to spam Q and has high costs on E and R.

I'm curious to your thoughts on the matter, and those of the community. Thanks for reading.

P.S- I'm loving the new skin [slayer-pantheon-thumbs]

P.P.S- How about a fun little something for those of us who reach 1 mil mastery on our fav champ :D

Do you know if this build is good :

I max E-> W -> Q

I also use mana flow band + presence of mind runes. I find that I can control waves pretty easily just by using E and rarely have mana problems.

But personally, I feel that MF is a weak ADC and I just can't seem to do well on her unless I get a decent support.

Also, since Duskblade got nerfed, what's the best build for MF?

Edit: Lethality is still the most optimal build, I tested it. Personally I still like to max E over Q, because good opponents almost never get hit by Q, and with E and comet I can ensure some wave control and poke

I'd never recommend maxing E first.

Mastering Double Up and predicting your opponents actions to make the most of it will take you further. Relying on E will steer your development in the wrong direction and if it ever becomes strong, Riot will nerf it as they did in the past.

Mana Flow band is a weak rune on MF that tends to trigger when you can't make the most use of it, especially since they increased it's cd duration to 75 seconds. It's also being considered for further nerfs so I wouldnt recommend getting accustomed to using it.

Presence of mind is a stronger rune, featuring good synergy with MF's expensive E, but there are times I've been inclined to sacrifice proper positioning in order to get use of out it's limited seven second time frame. Your support also needs to be ready for your sudden aggressive play upon level up. Ultimately, the limited windows of usage means it's going to be often unavailable and thus unreliable.

Supports and Jungles are determining who wins bot lane these days. As ADC, the most important things we can do to help ourselves include finding a good build, getting as much cs as possible, working on map awareness, wave control, team fight positioning, warding and above all, keeping a level head.

I've always preferred crit or hybrid builds on MissFortune as opposed to going pure lethality. It makes Miss Fortune's auto attacks more respectable and keeps her offense multidimensional.
