If you want to build Sterak's Gage when do you but it?

You benefit from it most if you have a decent amount of hp already built due to the passive on it. you want to benefit from the 75% bonus health. So if you want specifics, you generally want to have built items that add up to about 1000hp all together to benefit from the item. So thats like all together thats about 1275 HP needed. If you dont have much hp then its obviously not worth gettings, only a few champs have the proper build paths to benefit from it. only bruisers that have a build path similar to darius, maybe renekton. Its to prevent champs like from building it like he used to.

It's a good 2nd item on Camille & Darius.

Depends on who you're playing, but typically there are better items to build if you need HP. You typically get it after your core items, it's a 3rd or 4th slot kind of item.

if you are building that either scales with base ad doing bonus damage after sheen proc or scales on hp for damage like and you are NOT BUYING A i would advise to get it 2nd or 3rd cuz it increases your base ad and helps do more damage on sheen proc or helps you do more damage with titanic hydra

but if you are building it as a tank.... then 3rd/4th and vs true damage /burst damage is ideal
