Sejuani new perma frost passive mark

Wouldn't it make more sense for the mark to be the Winter's Claw symbol instead of the hammer? Sejuani's tribe is Winter's Claw.

we dont even know if its cannon anymore considering it happend right before the lore retcon and the removal of the summoners and league

so we aren't sure if its canon

also in regards to the new mark icon i think its because if they did make it the winters claw icon the mark it will be hard to judge cause its too flat as opposed to tall and more readable for when it gets stacks

I believe that they stated that the Freljord stuff was still canon when they did the retcon announcement.

thats good but im pretty sure only 95% of the event will be cannon so they can add more stuff in it especially if the return of vestayans has anything to do with freljord at all

No luck in getting example screenshots? Not trying to be greedy, just genuinely curious. I imagine having it under the character would get in the way of a potential Braum passive as well, huh?

You can try photoshop it. :) I think the problem is that it's wide and would bring issues with clarity.

Couldn't you have tested Winter's Claw mark on PBE with a bigger sample size rather than internal testing? Couldn't it have just been Handle->Handle->Axe Head->Axe Head, make the colours darker a bit.

I really feel this should've been testing on PBE server rather than internal testing. Edit: This would be a great time to get the voice of the community rather than just Rito peeps. This is also the perfect place to test it out.

I think the problem is the width. The Winters Claw mark would be wider than what we have now. If you keep in mind that they had to put it on the left or right side of the model (because Braum passive is on bottom and on top would be strange because of the health bar), then they just can't chose such a wide mark. It would block vision too much that way.

So they had to go for something more slim. Like the flail.

They could've tested it being on the model or above the model and above the health bar. I'm just saying, at least give it a test on PBE with a huge sample size before you give us what we have now. Hopefully they can make the current mark look better at least.

That's not dumb at all. There is a chance of a clarity issue and that is most likely the reason why the passive is put to the right of champions rather than underneath. The Winter's Claw symbol and Braum passive mark don't look the same though so I see no reason to not use the Winter's Claw symbol as a mark.

This might actually be the case. Braums icon is rather broad,wheras Sejuanis is pretty slim,which was likely done to differentiate the 2.

Yes the current icon needs some changes, not only does it not represent the winter's claw thing but it also looks very clunky, a bit turned to a side and then the circle and, W applies 2 stacks but Q none? x_x it's very very confusing

Sure about these? Gangplank Q counts as melee AA for most purposes, for example it triggers the effect of item 3074 . And as far as I know, the same counts for the mistwalkers. If I remember correctly, they used to work with the old version of warlords bloodlust.
