I'm sure if we took NA or EUW Bronze players and put them up against Korean Bronze players, things would be about the same. It's only once you start to get much, much higher up in skill levels -- as in challenger and pro scene -- that differences would start to emerge.

Yeah, people don't know that if you see her picked, you should immediately pick Lissandra, Malzahar, or super control Mage. Because otherwise she will take full advantage of you.

The trouble I have with her is just reacting in time, taking into account my ping and reaction time and stuff, she usually chunks my team for like half their health before she goes down and then her team finishes the rest of us off. I'm really tempted to start playing like, Fiddlesticks mid, lol (if I don't silence her, I can fear her, and if I don't fear her, I can probably drain-tank a lot of her damage)

I don't normally have much trouble interrupting her in time, but my ping only ever goes as high as 200 and generally sits around 80-100. Honestly, the thing I dislike about her - which I dislike about every assassin - is laning against her. It doesn't matter how well I do, or how safe I play -- eventually she's going to roam. I could have all 3 stealth wards and a pink ward placed in order to illuminate the entirety of the path from midlane to bot, but no matter how many danger and mia pings I send out, the support or adc is going to decide - in that instant - to facecheck the one unwarded brush that we just saw her enter on the minimap, or they're both going to decide that now is a perfect time to all-in the enemy botlane. The next time it happens, they'll do it again. It will just keep happening. It doesn't matter if I follow her, because if she roams first I'm simply never going to get in range in time -- I just have to hope my team is smart enough to not give her an engage in the 2 seconds it will take me to reach them. Maybe 1 in 10 are.

And then they roam again and your bot lane flames you for not following them and facechecking the brush against a fed assassin meanwhile you're still pinging them to back off and they sit in the middle of their lane? Yea, I know that feel bro, lol.

My current perceptions might just be overly painted by the last time I played against a Katarina; was kind of sleepy and playing on autopilot at the time so my reactions were pretty crap; happened again in the next game vs LeBlanc, my reaction time was like 3 seconds late, lol.

Playing Gragas against Katarina doesn't guarantee victory. Especially if you pick Gragas just because you read he is a counter but you don't know how to play him. Gragas shits on Katarina if you don't have half a brain. His passive gives him more sustain. He has 2 ways to interrupt her ultimate. He is going to get damage reduction with every engage and extra damage on the next hit easily out trading Katarina's Q and W. He has all the means to stomp on her. You were just lucky you played against a bad Gragas player.

He has two aways, but sometimes, you do have to ult or E before kat ults, to stop her team or to do a play. I don't think she is OP, but she is annoying because riot keeps taking away silences, which countered her hard before.

It makes me chuckle when people go "Oh just stun her from her ult then she's useless" News flash, her danger ISN'T just her ult. In fact, she can avoid most CC in the game by using Shunpo. The danger she has is that she can reset into massive bursts of aoe damage even WITHOUT her ult and she is heavily mobile doing it. Do I think she will be great in an actual pro 5v5 match? Not really, because you can abuse her pretty hard if she isn't top notch. However, she will stomp solo queue due to the design of her kit giving so much mobility with resets.

I'm not saying that Kat isn't bullshit, because she really can be at times, but a good Cho can make her cry, since he has two ways to fuck her ult up.

lol really Kata is so easy to counter. 1 stun or nockup when she dives in will make her useless. Also are these stats from Solo Queue? Ranked 5 competitive Queue? Normals? It makes a difference.
