@Riot Have you considered removing the buffer on Tristana's W?

I'm glad Tristana is being looked at, shes been at the top for a while now and sometimes a bit frustrating to play against. There's one mechanic that I hoped is being looked at and it's the buffer animation on Tris's Rocket Jump. For a champion who has a lot of self peeling and mobility, the buffer animation on her w seems to be over the top. Have you considered looking at the 'mechanic'? I know she has it for a long time now but with how so strong she is with the new runes, I hope it gets looked at. Hope any Rioters read this :D

What do you mean with buffer? The fact that she cannot be stopped while W or the fact she gets a reset for it?

Buffer means the time between you press the W button and the actual jump. It's basically a delay in cast without being a real channel.

The fact she cannot be stopped while starting W. I think its such a hidden power for her in her kit and i feel like it should be looked at least

if they took hidden power from vayne they should do it for trist as well

reduce the free power you get from tristana's spells W buffer removed AA during ult cast time removed

The buffer is actually not unique to Tristana, it happens with most other abilities with a cast time (that aren't channeled). Her's is the most blatant because of its long cast time.

I think Riot said that removing the buffer would also shorten the cast time, actually BUFFING her because you have less chance to deal damage before she jumps away.

They could code in something that makes it interrupted by Action-Type CC (silences and stuns, but not roots), but they'd have to do other stuff for it.

Tristana does need nerfs tho.

Ah, so it's part of the coding as well. That's a bit bummer.
