Now 18 minutes pass, I'm still under my tower patiently CS'ng whilst the enemy counter harasses me under my tower and the enemy jungler steals a herald. I have yet to have a visit from my jungler. I may even get a dive from the enemy mid laner shortly.....
How commonly does this scenario happen to other top laners or is my account just cursed to suffer fools who don't want free kills?
Subdue5 votesI'm not seeing what one has to do with the other. The reality is that the position of the lane is not the only thing to consider when deciding whether or not to gank. Some other things your junlger might be looking at:

So thanks for the ward. You did it to give your team a better chance to win. If I'm staying away from your lane, it doesn't mean I have some personal vendetta against you, and it's not because I'm trying to lose. I've judged that my resources are better spent elsewhere, and I'm trying to give our team a better chance to win too.

Like, if top picks mundo or garen or something like that, there is seriously no reason to gank.

it's every game kid, i'm playing 1v2, allied jungler is somehow dying to chickens, and enemy jungler is still taking all the drakes despite being in my lane half the time. sorry, not sorry, people can go stalk whatever replays they want and see it for themselves. they'll likely get triggered by matchmaking too.

Yeah, Teemo and Irelia are truly definition of tanks, that is why my jg is foing gromp and not bother contesting renekton trying to dive me every 15s

let me guess, the champions you do not want to gank are also Darius, Nasus, Urgot, Jax, Kayle, Malphite, Kennen, Gnar, Poppy, Pantheon, Garen, and I feel like there are more 15 that do not really comes in my mind right now, but i gurantee the jungler will also do not know they exist.

Like I don't need help from some idiot that doesn't understand that 2 waves of minions do a million damage or me having no mana means I shouldn't be taking fights. I'm perfectly capable of killing idiot enemies on my own and if not, I'm fine farming under tower until the oceans dry up.
The Kombinator1 votesMore times, than i care to count. Excpet, that i'm botlane, and it happens on bot. I pull, or ward, then 15 minute under turret, and nothing. Even enemy jungler comes for a dive.
People should understand, that even challengers lose lane sometimes. But a nice gank can make up to it easy. On botlane i often buy control ward to bait the enemy when jungler pings, that he is coming. Still don't get it why that tactic isn't used. Support goes around, place control ward, and jungler comes in when enemy protects their ward. Like 99% of the times they come on me hard.
Same could work on top. Control ward into bush, and if not warded, then jungler moves in. If warded, then jungler waits a second. Enemy either forced to retreat, or risk a gank.

Rákãñ1 votesOver warding red, why not just ward the wall next to blue? That why you can see if the jg ganking you early or going to invade his jungle? Smack right in the middle of the wall give you vision of both pathways.
