League of toxic snowballers

I've enjoyed league, truly i have.... i used to play for many hours into the night, cramming for homework and tests after grinding with friends, enjoying the game.

I've seen champions broken down and remade under strange rationale, viable picks nerfed into oblivion never to be seen again, I've been called everything you'd get the shit beaten out of you in real life or even arrested for..... and it was all fun.

But lately..... in the past few months it has gotten bad.

I don't know what it is about league, someone with his friends baits you and spams taunts while you die and you get flamed for 30 minutes is the norm now... a jungler sits in your mid bush watching you die and calls you a noob feeding %%%got who deserves cancer instead of going through with the gank as you die under turret...

It never was this bad, and I don't know what's changed. I've been chat banned for debating why it isn't okay to tell someone to kill yourself, I've seen people 3-4 games straight i have to mute each game because they troll in subtle ways the system doesn't catch..........

But the breaking factor for me overall... the community mindset. No longer has league of legends become a place to test your skill and improve.... it's a cess pit worse than i've ever seen it. Riot sweeps issues under the rug and instead blames those who don't react the way they see pleasing.

People posting about "feeders" and "trolls" whenever someone has a bad game, spamming and flaming for reports. ...best part about this is when someone falls behind...

THE GOD DAMN GAME MAKES EVERYTHING SNOWBALL INTENSIVE THAT THIS HAPPENS EVERY GAME

Used to you could die a few times in lane, get towerdove by the infinite skill of zed and lee sin and recover eventually... now good luck fighting an assassin even 2 levels ahead with minion aggro, even under the nerfed to hell turrets.

Let's think about this...

Pros say blame yourself which creates a false sense of duty that is obliterated by ego whenever someone else fails. The "It's your own fault for not carrying" does not sink in to someone who had a game with 2 afks and the remaining 2 teammates flaming them while dancing in the jungle.... which creates a change in mindset.

Riot. And league community.... the mindset of this game is absolutely god awful. You cannot carry every game unless you grievously outweigh evry other factor. Those who fail, will fail, they are not "feeding scum noobs" because they got destroyed in lane, and being a toxic scumbucket is not something a PUBLIC STANCE should claim you "just mute and move on" because that isn't how anywhere else in the world works. There needs to be consequences for INTENTIONAL ACTIONS.

The community has gotten away from reality. A false perception of climbing skill by becoming so godly you literally have to carry 4 others who are beneath you almost always against the mental breakdown of when that fails, that isn't normal, that isn't teamwork-inducing, it's pros stroking their own epeen because they can and everyone buys it. A game company that completely changes "unpopular" picks but will vehemontly and blatantly guard what others enjoy also builds on this "skill bias" that doesn't exist.

"skill cap" "feeders" "my team" "noobs" .... the justifications people widely accept is deplorable. I always had positive winrates, ive always climbed elos.... i even dropped to bronze to play with friends for a season then climbed back to high gold when they quit casually playing. I've played with diamonds, and some higher.... and the attitude is everywhere. People feel "justified" to treat others like shit because of the atmosphere riot and the community cherish.

And I'm done.

The last few times to play league.... i just cant. i joined a ranked, ready to try and win, got mid, picked fizz, got towerdove at level 2 with my jungle in the mid bush typing about how i sucked and was a noob etc. The enemy team joined him, as did my allies.

I alt f4d. I quit that ranked game and you know what? I was happier being away. This game, this community..... it's different from what it was, and the changes and mindsets and publicity of the bullshit that encourages it is out of hand. I quit that game because after months of talking with my other league-playing friends, we all agreed... it's gotten unbearable. There shouldnt be the mindset of "oh god who do i have to mute, what if i need help or plan to roam or need to talk?" "what insults will i have to stomach or treatment and harassment will i enjoy today?"

The game should be about fucking trying to win and improve, period. The social pariah-producing shit this is now.. most people are more interested than blaming and making excuses than trying, but they take it to levels that are just unenjoyable.

I may drop by occasionally, but ...like my other friends already... i'm done.
