Riot May We Talk About Syndra?

Syndra the goddess of mid that we saw in Season 4 has been completely shut out of the spot light. She use to hover around a 50% win rate and now is dropped down to less than 45%. Not only does she not fit in with the meta, but with the nerfs on Q, the removal of DFG, her largely noticed decrease in width and range with E, and her very low mobility, the questions stands what should we do with her? The Queen of Untapped Power feels like she has no power now item 3070

If you really wanted to compensate champs that heavily relied on DFG like Syndra, nerfing her base stats were not the answer. Her Q doesn't even match up to say Viktor or to Ahri's. And I don't know if others still have this BUT WHEN YOU ULT YOU START TO GLITCH AND IT GETS PATCHY, that has always been a bug and its very annoying to play with especially in the new team-fighting meta.

Ever since the rise of tank junglers and tanks in general, high AP burst mobile mid laners like LeBlanc and Diana feel much more viable and bring more burst than Syndra. Syndra I feel has been reduced to almost nothing compared to others. I have ranted long about this and don't want to be the one that just complains with no solution.

If you were to ever consider buffing Syndra a few ideas would be: Buffing Q base damage - 15 AP, so she can wave clear and not waste all her mana early. Buff E- This is a pretty important too considering how much it effects early, but giving it about ~10% length/width it would feel a whole lot better than missing a ton of stuns Her Passive- Not only is her passive interesting, and surely strong late it doesn't provide anything early unlike champs that have much higher burst early (LeBlanc). Take for example J4 his passive does 10% damage based on someones health, that is great early and late... Syndra well she has nothing until very late game, and I think I can say that some games end much faster than others. I don't have a solution for this one... but I sure hope someone does. Movement Speed- This doesn't even have to be big.. but with her lack of escapes now in season 5 and her very immobile presence for team fights something needs to be done about it, it may seem important but can help in long run :D

If you have any comments or suggestions please give me feedback :D I really hope a riot member notices this and can discuss how they feel about syndra!Syndra

The E nerf I understood being nerfed. Not nerfed into uselessness like it was there for a while, but they brought it back up. I still cant' stun people who are in my face though and it's infuriating.

What I do not understand is why or how they could possibly even nerf her Q into the state that it's in currently. It boggles my mind, truly. I thought you were supposed to feel rewarded landing skill shots? When I land Q regularly in the first three levels and watch it tickle the enemy's healthbars, it's quite disgusting (not to sound hyperbolic).

I miss playing her as a support, especially when other mage supports don't have to aim their stuns Annie :/

Her Q damage if i were to run normal runes for mid Ap quints, scaling ap blues, health yellows, and magic pen reds would only do 74 damage considering its base damage is now 50.... So what was that thing "So much untapped power"? you mean "So much tickling"

What they did to her is ridiculous. She's one of the game's tougher champions and your reward for learning her in depth is... nothing. She's still worse than the majority of mids even when you master her. I don't know how they could find 50 base damage acceptable for her Q, that is just ridiculous compared to every other mid. Even Orianna's Q does more than that (60 base) and she has AP-empowered auto-attacks.

I know Syndra was a lane bully but she wasn't the worst and they've given her no replacement for now having a terrible laning phase.
