AKALI QOL FOR HER SHROUD :D

So when akali uses her shroud you can clearly tell that she is in stealth mode, you can also clearly see her leave it when she auto attacks or fights and enemy within her shroud. The biggest issue i have is that when the enemy uses a pink or a red trinket it doesn't give any indication to the akali player that I can be seen. Can we have something like a !!! or a sound that shows the akali player that they can and are being seen?

^_^ its not really a buff but more of a way to clarify to the akali player if they can be seen! (also this is buff but can we clean up her auto attack animations like with kata!!)

I agree. We can have a !! when Rengar is creepin up on us, we can have one when Evelynn is in range, why can't Akali?

Yep. Akali is quite possibly the weakest laner in the game out of champs that are actually expected to lane. She doesnt even have a real power spike after 6 anymore because if you play her mid the lane is too short to kill anyone unless they are really dumb and top most champs are just stronger than you at 6.

Even if Riot reverted all nerfs from the past two seasons to Akali she would still be perfectly manageable because she was never OP to begin with. At her best she was nothing more than the combination of "strong, and easy to kill people with". But the whole idea that she lacked counterplay was always bogus.

As it stands, it's really painful to be an Akali main these days.

umm idk what you are talking about ive been against akalis and they destroy people still. She just isnt good in the current meta that doesnt mean she needs buffs. Her dmg once she gets going is still pretty insane in general plus she has relatively short cds so her burst is fairly consistent. Ill make you a deal she gets buffs but she doesnt get that kill refresh on her ult anymore. sounds fair to me!

What allowing the player to realize that they can be seen and that they should use their options to get out or play around the enemy? You can say a "buff" I say its something that gives clarity to the player, and its already allowed on other champs so why not akali?

I don't think that is a QOL change for Akali...I think that is a complete change on how stealth works in this game. I could be wrong, but I don't believe any champion has an indication that they can be seen when "stealth" except a few fringe cases like Eve, who is permanently stealth except when near enemies so given an indication of when in an enemies' vision range. (I don't play Eve, so don't know what happens when near a pink ward but not near an enemy; does she still get the red exclamation point?).

Part of being stealth is looking out for pinks or oracles, and recognizing the signs of the enemy being able to see you to react accordingly. Sometimes that means you die. That is the point of pinks/oracles etc- it is counterplay to stealth. Akali's w is on a much shorter cooldown and cost to most of the vision counters- no need for this QOL buff.

That was rude and not helping your point. If your argument has to result in insulting your opponent, you're losing that argument. A better way to do it should have been something like this.

I feel as though that this kind of QoL shouldn't be needed, since generally you can see the lens above you, as well as most pinks that get placed since they generally won't go in a bush. Since pinks are the only way we can counter the stealth, we shouldn't allow Akali to instantly know when she was countered, unless they can pay attention to what is around them, since you'd notice the pink at the same speed you'd notice the !!! above your head.

Evelynn gets flashing ! when she is by a pink ward and a champion too, this doesn't change how the game works it just gives indication that she has been seen or can be seen in a particular area. It is totally counter-intuitive for me to look like I am in stealth in my W but others can see me, it creates clarity issues and can end up getting me killed because of it. (Now that doesn't mean I am always sitting in shroud when a pink or a red trinket is used.)

I don't know. Someone like Teemo who can turn invisible doesn't really get something when he can be seen. I kind of find a sick enjoyment of popping a pink ward down in her little stealth cloud and almost perfectly imagining the horribly panicked look on the person who is playing her's face as I unload on them.

No, I can tell if a pink is within my shroud, or if a red trinket is being used. But it doesn't make sense for my screen in that particular area to still be darkened when I am clearly visible to the enemy. This isn't about me not being able to see the trinket or pink being used, it's about clarity and how the akali perceives who can see her and who can't. Vision counters stealth yes, but me not being able to tell if I am stealth or not is clarity issues, this is one of the reasons why Evelynn gets a ! if she didn't have stealth she would be utterly useless at least when she is seen by a pink you can tell she isn't in stealth anymore.

Akali is like fizz you do everything right the whole lane phase then you make one tiny misstep or the jungler gets a good gank off and you are off on a spiraling tunnel of doom as they snowball into killing machines which players hate. Nothing makes anyone more salty than a champ that once it spots you kills you no matter if you had flash up or not and when your team comes to back you up they manage to get away

It could be considered a slight buff. If the !!! pops up while you happen to be near a location where an unseen pink has been placed, you basically get an indication that there is a pink ward not too far away from you which you can clear and alert your team of.

Except the Pink or red trinket will only reveal you if it is inside of the shroud itself. If I shroud in the small bush near drag and the enemy has placed a pink in there the pink will be revealed but so will I if i am in that shroud. This won't discover pinks at random it will only give clarity to the akali player that can be seen when a pink or a red trinket has been used within the shroud itself :D

Akalis stealth is a small un movable cloud that says HEY I AM HERE No other stealth champion does that

Ok, i would be ok with this.... however she does have the luxury of STILL BEING STEALTHED for a brief moment even when out of the shroud. So if they were to put an indicator or something. thn they would need to balance it off by making the shroud the only area she can stealth herself.
