Stalker's Blade / Chilling Smite - Small Buff Requested

When Stalker's Blade was originally released, it was a 50% slow for 2 seconds, which I agree was too strong. However, now that it's been changed to a 20% movement speed steal, I think the duration should be increased a little to compensate. Riot, could you increase the duration to 3 seconds?

I'm for it, but it seems like it's already the widely preferred base item.

You can't.

Blue Smite should be removed from the game entirely. As it is now it's only broken in the fact that it does damage. The item should not do damage period, none of the other smites deal damage on the initial cast, that is the reason blue smite is preferred.

The speed steal is usable and not overpowered, it is borderline weak for many people, but the tiny bit of damage you deal pretty much makes it a must take for securing kills at higher levels of play.

When blue smite first came out I was having a near 100% gank success rate on Volibear it was pretty funny. Similar to the effects of item 3800 which will be gutted over time and has already started to happen. It will continue to receive nerfs until its a non item.

The reason? Both of these items were designed to allow champs who lack engage to have some way to build for it. The issue? It makes champs with engage really strong.

So unless you take the damage off of blue smite I don't see that buffs of any kind are plausible. They already have a smite item that I have NEVER seen built item 3711 this item is all over the place.

What they need to do with blue smite is have it grant additional gold when you smite ANY camp and when you smite an enemy champion you get a 30-50% movement bonus when moving towards that champion and take away the damage and slow.

While that may not sound great and a huge nerf to blue smite it brings its power in line with the other smites, it helps make up for ganks by giving bonus gold on smite, it's hard to abuse because if you smite for extra gold you don't have it for ganks and vice versa but it gives heavy ganking junglers some bonus that if they get behind they can farm to at least catch up some.

You then have 3 viable smite options, one for clear times and sustain item 3713 , one for dueling item 3715 , and for ganking item 3706
