Riot should increase ARAM dodge time

Make it something significant like an hour. It gets ridiculous waiting through 5-6 dodges and losing out on decent fun champs you rolled. People try harding in ARAM and dodging to hopefully get an op pick in the next lobby is just lame as fuck.

The times are fine. The fact that it can reset without playing a single fucking game is the problem.

Dodge penalties should only reset after you play a certain number of games in the queue you dodged from. Something like 3-5 games completed without dodging. They don't need to be consecutive (so if you play 2, dodge, then play 1, that'd still drop a tier, although you'd also gain a tier from the dodge in the middle), but they need to be played and played completely (so you don't get any benefit if you AFK).

Just gonna copy paste this...

Look, I hate dodging as much as the next person when my team has a really good comp, but let me give you a few reasons why some people dodge on either team:

  • They can't play that champ nor the champs they reroll into. At all. Doing so just results in them feeding. No one wants to trade and no one rerolled anything they're decent at. --Do you really want someone who can't play Azir at all on your team? I really don't. Not everyone is faker, we can't play every single champ.
  • The entire team comp is terrible, no one rerolled anything good/helpful. --A full team of mages/tanks/adcs/melees doesn't always work out. Often times it ends badly, especially for a team of adcs or mages if you can't end the game quick enough.
  • People are being toxic --Not everyone wants to sit through a game of people being toxic to report them. I'd rather screenshot it, then dodge instead of risking to deal with that for the next 10-30 minutes.
  • Something in real life came up. --I know, we're on the internet playing a multiplayer game. How can we have any kind of life?! Some people do. Or they have no life but they have a pet. Or maybe something happened in the family that requires there presence.

Sure, some people dodge just because they don't like the champ they got. But that doesn't mean everyone does, and honestly even if they did it doesn't warrant an hour wait time. Especially not for one dodge.

I've had many times I dodged to avoid a bad a team comp, or because I got Draven and both my rolls were terrible and no one wanted to trade. Heck, I even had a time my sisters rabbit chewed the power cord to my modem. Do either of those situations really deserve an HOUR wait time? Especially for a first offense?

Look, you may think 15 minutes isn't that long, but that time DOES rack up. i got up to I believe 45 minutes one day because I kept getting Draven. That was, if I remember right, just 3 dodges. Nearly an hour wait for just 3 dodges. Would I really need to suffer a 3 hour timer just because of rng giving me Draven?

I have posted similar thread here, saying the same thing - increasing dodge time in ARAM, however, most responses I got were from dodgers saying the current dodge time was fine and I was funny... Good luck bro...

What I know is that many people have multiple ARAM accounts and they just dodge and switch accounts, until they get OP champions, for example, the current ARAM bug - Senna... They would even dodge the game if their teammates got great champions but refuse to trade with them... Under the current dodge time, they only need about 3 account in order to dodge whatever they want while rarely have to wait for the dodge penalty gone.

Smurfs still invalidate the timer entirely, honestly it should be the time that it is but the client has to stay open, can't (without extra work) double log anymore, and makes it so that if you do that with your smurf you'll still have a timer when you jump back on your main

Personally, when it comes to the dodges in ARAM, I just can't stand the people who dodge at the very last second. And I do mean, the very last second. This has happened so many times, that I often just close League altogether, out of pure frustration.
