I haven't been following too much of the pro scene lately (besides worlds) and noticed that Renekton hasn't made too many appearances in my ELO lately and was wondering if he's still viable. What are your guys' opinions? Is he worth my 4800 IP?
I loooove renekton... but he's outclassed by others in the top lane right now. I find it much easier to win with rumble, wukong, and others.
Not worth the purchase at all right now. He sucks. Literally not valued in any region
He is the best in his class which is being a lane bully who still makes an impact on late/mid game. Top lane bully's just aren't meta right now.
He's still very strong.
Renekton does well against many melees and can survive many ranged champions. I personally enjoy playing him a lot, and I feel he's a lot better than people give him credit for lately.
My personal favorite builds: Teamfight Lizard Bro: Black Cleaver, Sunfire, Locket, Randuins, Thornmail or Warmogs, Mercury Treads (I build this in hard match ups or if my team needs beef. The BC shred with empowered E is pretty incredible.)
I will destroy you and your family lizard man: Hydra, Bloodthrister, Last Whisper, Randuins, Spirit Visage, Ionian Boots (I usually go ghost, ignite with this build and need to crush lane)
