Don't be cute. Lux's mana cost on her E, 130 mana at level 5, is higher than any other mid-lane mages right now, AND it does worse damage.

Lux item 3070 crying for that kill lol. No seriously i wouldn't buy a teer on lux but ill tell you this. Buying a teer costs 720 gold. Selling it costs 500. So yoh are spending 220 gold for a teer is a great idea. Buying a mana pot costs 35 gold. Buying 6 mana pots actually is more costly and less beneficial than buying a teer for the early mana dependent lvls and selling it later in the game before you finalize your build! This is good for all mana champs not just for lux. Consider trying this! What is 200 gold after all....

No, that delays a Grail, Morello, or other item. And Lux does not build a Tear up very fast, so it's not really cost-effective on her.

Considering Lux already has farming trouble if her opponent can zone her from using autoattacks to last-hit minions, she can't afford to do that.
