Remember when Aatrox's initial concept was a sustain-centered lane pusher?
Looks like the recent changes to his sustain is just another step to take his identity away.

Because "sustain based" is 99% of the time a shit mechanic.
Having some sustain to get past poke? That's fine. Having said sustain be your identity? Welcome to being OP when they don't have
and useless when they do.
It still doesn't change the fact that old Aatrox was based around it and was starting to be frequently seen as a decent pick before his rework, even in pro-play, in an era where things like
got so good because of the fear of an additional
meta. Even if his sustain was easily counterable, it was part of him and he finally started to succeed with it. His rework just seemed like it had sustain JUST because he is SUPPOSED to have some, but it has been so low and now its even lower. Without his core identity, he will just become an overnerfed version of
He was based around it. Yes.
And being based around it was a bad decision on Riot's end.
Sometimes you have to scrap their old identity because it's shit. Trynd's identity is going to be stripped away when he's eventually reworked because it's a shit identity.
The only reason he was popular before his rework is because he was OP with Conquerer. That's it. There wasn't some huge change that made him better to play as, it wasn't the tens of thousands of mains of his crawling out of the woodwork to enjoy him again - He was just OP. His identity made him either OP or useless.
if your champ did not have one of the best early games, one of the best mid games, one of the late games. then you would not need all these nerfs. you c annot fcking beat half the champion roster mid and top at almost every stage of the game and still cry about fairness or balance!
"one of the best late games" you're joking, right?
