i'll have fun again when...
the game is fair to the point where the decisions i make have an impact on the game. right now, its not. not even close to being fair for me.
at the moment, when you get a pregroup, you're at their mercy and you have 0 impact on what happens and what goes on, which objectives get taken, and in short they make their own decisions and they're doing what they want to do, no questions asked and especially no ifs ands or buts. this wouldn't be an issue so much if matchmaking DIDN'T WORK, but it does.
#THEY HAVE A TRUE 50-50 at working, riots proven it matchmaking is truly beyond fair, and every time theres a large pregroup they have a 50~51% chance at winning.
the fundamental issue with this is that the odd people out now also have a 50-50 at winning this game. thats not skill, thats a big screw over to them.
i can no longer treat each game individually, and say "hey guys i think we can still do this to win" and people try it, no, im ignored outright because of group mentality, #if the thought didn't come from the group, it doesn't affect the group.
i could get really big from lane, 5-0 and 35cs up, maybe a tower too, so ill try and transfer my lead over to some other lane and help them out too, its a shame the enemy team saw me as a threat and worked to shut me down. so i ask my team to do something else on the map like push bot tower or take a dragon while they're all top, it doesn't get done even when uncontested. this is all because the pregroup doesn't communicate with me or work with me, they have a 100% chance to do what they want to do. regardless if its the right decision or not. a solo player would do it.
#solo players always brought with them some level of reactivity and basic cooperation skills with them
grouped players majorly dont, not that they cant, but they usually dont. statistically they just dont work with their odd one(s) out.
so every game i play with pregroups hurts my chances of treating this game in a unique way and forces it into just another game under my belt. to the point where i cant win every game, not because we didn't stand a chance, but because we couldn't work together.
riot forces me to the laws of RNG for my win, and thats not fun. i want to feel impactful on a team, not relegated to fill for them and their ways.
