Its not fun to play tanks right now.

I've tried numerous times on many different tanks to enjoy myself, but i just cant anymore. Its like no matter what i do, I'm no more than a support on the top side of the map. Unless you're playing Galio or zac, you might as well not play a tank because figters have enough utility and actually have the damage to carry by themselves. Perhaps that is an exaggeration, but thats what it seems like to me.

I've been playing Kled and Yorick more than ever before because i just cant play tanks anymore. They do damage, have utility, can carry hen ahead, but also are useful when behind. They also dont rely on bad items.

I hope that i dont seem too salty or too entitled, but i needed to get this out. Its been killing me that ever since the tank update i havent had any fun unless im playing a juggernaut or diver.

I don't expect changes, and I don't care if there are changes that are put through, but from my player perspective I wanted to say its not enjoyable to play tanks anymore.

I think tanks suffer from the same problem that supports do in general - they aren't nearly as useful if their team isn't strong behind them. They're incredibly team reliant, but they're also among the strongest champions in the game when your team actually makes proper use of you.

What this leads to is a few really fun games where your team outright stomps and you don't even feel amazing about it because you feel like you stomped so hard you would have done just as well with any other champion (even if there were a couple early catalysts due to you being a tank in a mid-game teamfight). The rest are boring games where you make what you think are good engages or do good peel but your team doesn't respond well enough and you just feel like you aren't contributing enough.

It's just that even though CC is very visible to opponents, it's very invisible power to the person using it unless it's followed up with lots of damage.

Well, before the frank update it was fine. I used to feel powerful enough to make an impact and with the cc I made the biggest impact with my team.

Now I feel I make no impact unless I'm with my team, and can't do anything on my own ever. Even laning on my own is a stretch because i don't have the damage to be threatening to my enemy lamer who just buys lifesteal and ignores my damage.

So now I'm the one playing the bruisers who just ignore the tanks and kill people too. Tanks aren't worthwhile to play in their current state, in my opinion, unless they are Galio the only tank who has self reliability. (I don't even like Galio)

As a tank main, I beg to differ.

I almost exclusively play tanks top, though have been playing a fair amount of jungle in the last week or so just to switch it up, but I quite enjoy playing tanks.
